About KLOW Blend
KLOW is a four-peptide research blend that extends the three-peptide GLOW combination (GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500) with KPV, the C-terminal tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) of alpha-MSH. It is used in laboratory research to investigate extracellular matrix remodeling, angiogenic and cellular-migration signaling, and melanocortin-related anti-inflammatory pathways within a single preparation.
KLOW assembles four peptides that each entered the research literature along separate paths. GHK-Cu, a copper-binding tripeptide, was first described by Loren Pickart in the 1970s and has since been examined in vitro for associations with gene-expression and matrix-remodeling pathways. BPC-157 emerged in the early 1990s from Croatian researchers studying gastric protective fractions, and TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) traces to Allan Goldstein's thymosin work at the National Institutes of Health in the 1960s.
The fourth component, KPV, is the C-terminal tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). It has been investigated in preclinical research for anti-inflammatory and melanocortin-related signaling pathways, including studies in intestinal epithelial cell models. KPV is what distinguishes KLOW from the three-peptide GLOW blend.
Combining the four peptides lets researchers examine complementary in-vitro mechanisms—matrix and collagen signaling, angiogenesis, cellular migration, and melanocortin-related inflammatory pathways—within a single lyophilized research-grade preparation.

How KLOW Blend Works
Preclinical studies have examined the four component peptides for distinct but complementary mechanisms: GHK-Cu for collagen synthesis and matrix remodeling, BPC-157 for vascular signaling, TB-500 for cellular migration, and KPV for melanocortin-related anti-inflammatory signaling.
Collagen Synthesis & Matrix Remodeling (GHK-Cu)
GHK-Cu has been examined in preclinical models for delivery of copper to lysyl oxidase and for associations with collagen and elastin gene expression, matrix metalloproteinase modulation, and antioxidant gene upregulation in dermal fibroblast cultures.
Angiogenic Signaling (BPC-157)
BPC-157 has been studied in preclinical models for VEGFR2 receptor activation and downstream PI3K/Akt and MAPK signaling, with associated observations on endothelial cell proliferation and capillary tube formation in new-blood-vessel-formation research.
Cellular Migration (TB-500)
TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4) has been studied for sequestering G-actin monomers and modulating the actin cytoskeleton, with preclinical research examining migration of fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and endothelial cells in wound-model systems.
Melanocortin & Anti-Inflammatory Signaling (KPV)
KPV, the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH, has been investigated in preclinical research for anti-inflammatory and melanocortin-related signaling, including PepT1-mediated cellular uptake and modulation of NF-kB signaling in intestinal epithelial cell models.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is KLOW Blend?
- KLOW is a four-peptide research blend that extends the three-peptide GLOW combination (GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500) with KPV, the C-terminal tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) of alpha-MSH. It is used in laboratory research to investigate extracellular matrix remodeling, angiogenic and cellular-migration signaling, and melanocortin-related anti-inflammatory pathways within a single preparation.
- What are the components of the KLOW Blend?
- The KLOW Blend contains GHK-Cu (49557-75-7) and BPC-157 (137525-51-0) and TB-500 (77591-33-4) and KPV (67727-97-3).
- What purity is Peptide Foundry's KLOW Blend?
- Peptide Foundry's research peptides are manufactured to 99%+ purity. Every batch is verified by an independent third-party laboratory (Freedom Diagnostics) using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for purity and identity, Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) assay for bacterial endotoxin, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) for heavy-metal contamination. A Certificate of Analysis is published for every product and batch.
- How should KLOW Blend be stored?
- Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at room temperature for 3–4 months. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store refrigerated (2–8 °C) and use within 30 days. Keep away from direct light and extreme temperatures.
- Does KLOW Blend ship with a Certificate of Analysis?
- Yes. Every batch of every product ships with a Certificate of Analysis from Freedom Diagnostics, an independent third-party analytical laboratory. The COA documents HPLC purity, peptide identity, endotoxin testing, and heavy-metals screening.
- Is KLOW Blend sold for human use?
- No. All products sold by Peptide Foundry are strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only (RUO). They are not intended for human or animal consumption, therapeutic use, or diagnostic application.
